Fastest car in every tier

Times only mean something within a tier — race distances differ, so a Tier 4 record will always look slower than a Tier 3 one even when the car is quicker in its class.

From the data

Where driving skill is worth the most time

Every car has two times. The dyno is the game's prediction for a flawless run. The record is what a driver actually managed. The gap between them is pure driving.

Of the 1,246 cars with both figures recorded, 98.7% beat their dyno, with a median gain of 0.115 seconds. But a Tier 4 Viper ACR finds 1.843 seconds the dyno never accounted for, while the fastest car in the game finds 0.029. Same game, sixty times the reward for driving properly.

We pulled that gap apart car by car in why your CSR2 dyno time is not your real time.

What the data shows

Five things the record sheet proves

Having every record in one dataset lets you check things that normally get argued about in comment sections. These are not opinions — each one is arithmetic on the numbers above.

A higher EVO does not mean a faster car

The Time Machine records 2,699 EVO — the highest in the game. The Honda Hoonigan Indy Truck records 2,525, a full 174 points behind. The truck loses by six thousandths of a second. If build strength decided races, that gap would be enormous. It is almost nothing. What PP and EVO actually predict.

Purple stars are worth about eight hundredths

The Rimac Nevera appears twice, identical but for its stars. The purple-star copy runs 6.653 with 2,635 EVO. The gold-star copy runs 6.731 with 2,593. Same car, same tune, 0.078 seconds apart. That is the cleanest controlled test of stars anyone can run.

The top of the game is absurdly tight

The ten fastest cars in CSR2 are covered by 0.074 seconds — first to tenth, less than a tenth apart. Below that the field opens up fast. Chasing the outright record is a game of thousandths; getting into the top hundred is not.

CSR2 is, in practice, a Tier 5 game

Of 1,309 recorded cars, 931 are Tier 5 — 71% of everything on the sheet. Tier 1 has 16. Whatever the tier list says, the competitive life of this game happens almost entirely at the top. What that means for how you actually play.

Nearly every record beats its own prediction

98.7% of recorded times are faster than the dyno said they would be. That is not a handful of exceptional drivers — it is almost the entire field. Treat the dyno as a floor rather than a target, and treat any car whose real time matches its dyno as a car nobody has driven properly yet.

What this site is

A record book, not a shop

CSR2 Hubis an independent fan resource for CSR Racing 2, run by players. The record times and tunes are the community's work, compiled over years of testing — we host them in a searchable form and credit them as such. Everything is free, and we're not affiliated with Zynga or NaturalMotion.

We also don't verify individual runs, and records get beaten. Treat the sheet as the best available snapshot rather than gospel, and tell us when something is out of date.

  • No shop, no pricing, nothing for sale
  • No mods, hacks, APKs or mod menus
  • No account buying, selling or boosting
  • We will never ask for your login or Player ID

Questions

CSR2, answered

What is CSR2 Hub?

A free, independent reference site for CSR Racing 2. It holds the community's world-record book — 1,309 recorded times, each with the exact tune that produced it — plus tools that answer which car to race and which of two cars is quicker. Nothing is for sale and there is no account to create.

What is the fastest car in CSR2?

The fastest recorded time belongs to the Back to the Future Part III 'Time Machine' at 6.505 seconds, ahead of the Honda Hoonigan Indy Truck on 6.511 and the Apollo S on 6.521. The top ten are covered by 0.074 seconds in total, so the outright record is a fight over thousandths rather than a clear gap.

Do CSR2 mods actually work?

Not in any way worth the risk. Modified APKs alter the game client, which is exactly what anti-cheat is built to detect, and they do not exist on iOS at all. Server-side services need the login to your Google or Apple account, which means handing account access to a stranger. Zynga's terms prohibit both, and enforcement runs to permanent bans. We cover how each route fails, and how the scams around them work, on our mods page.

Is CSR2 modding safe, and is there a trusted service?

No, and the reason is structural rather than a matter of finding the right seller. These operations are anonymous by necessity, which removes every normal form of recourse — no legal identity, no buyer protection, no reputation they cannot walk away from. The trust signals on offer, such as testimonial screenshots and claimed ban-free records, are all self-reported and impossible to verify. We do not name, rank or link to any provider.

What does dyno time mean in CSR2?

The dyno figure is the game's own prediction of what your car runs on a flawless pass — perfect launch, perfect shifts. The recorded time is what a driver actually posted. Across all our records 98.7% of real times beat the dyno, with a median gain of 0.115 seconds, so treat the dyno as a floor rather than a target.

Why does a car with higher PP still lose?

Because PP and EVO describe how strong a build is, not how fast it finishes. The clearest example on the sheet: the Time Machine records 2,699 EVO, the highest in the game, and beats the Honda Hoonigan Indy Truck — 174 EVO points behind it — by six thousandths of a second. Build strength sets the ceiling; driving and gearing decide the result.

How many cars does the database cover?

1,309 recorded entries across 5 tiers, covering 884 distinct cars once variants are grouped. Tier 5 accounts for 931 of them, about 71% of the sheet, which reflects where the competitive game actually happens. Tier 1 has just 16.

Where does the data come from, and is it up to date?

The times and tunes are recorded and maintained by the CSR2 player community over years of testing. We reproduce that work in a searchable form and credit it as theirs. We do not verify individual runs, and records get beaten, so treat the sheet as the best available snapshot rather than a final word. If you spot something out of date, tell us and we will correct it.

Is CSR2 Hub affiliated with Zynga or NaturalMotion?

No. It is an independent, unofficial fan resource with no relationship to the game's developer or publisher. CSR Racing 2 and CSR2 are trademarks of their respective owners, referenced here descriptively so we can write about the game.
